The official trailer of Evolusi KL Drift II is out. Posted by Mr Director, Syamsul Yusof himself, the movie is looking good with all the impacts, effects & drift scene. For extra info, all the accidents, is REAL. Absolutely no camera trick. REAL cars, REAL accident. My car (ex-car..sold it off, remember? lol), the black Nissan Silvia S14 with fotografiadelyzard logo is one from the drift car used for the movie, along with 350z  Z33, Supra jza80, rx7 fd3s, silvia s13, s15, skyline r34 and not forgetting corolla ae70.

I was also one of the drifter/stunt driver for the movie, along with Along, Zee, Yoong, D-wan, Ahboy, Wanbra, and fellow of drifter. Shooting took place around KL area, Jln Bukit Bintang, Jln P.Ramlee, KLCC, Putrajaya & Westport Selangor. Duration of shooting is about 45 days +/-, and Hitman Nazri aka Aie from The Photographers KL is the official photographer throughout the duration.

4AEOC is a group of Toyota Corolla owners, from AE82,AE92,AE101,AE111. I was introduced to this club when I was using my 96 Corolla AE111 (sold to nice chap from Terengganu & working at Port Dickson). Despite the fact that I have no longer having a Corolla (or even a Toyota…lol), I am still involved with this club with officials & non-officials activities up to date. I appreciate it’s friendship & teamwork’s. I even convoy with them with my S14(also sold somewhere around Sept 09 this year) to the unofficial 4AEOC event- squid jigging trip this year. 4AEOC group was established on 2007, and I was selected as their official photographer ever-since, for any kind of events, convoys, functions, related to the club.

By the way, as you can see here is the images of the recently held gathering, the Grand  & Final TT for the year 2009. It took place at Shah Alam, starting from shop-lots located  behind Tesco, and for the photo session,every club member making way towards TTDI Shah Alam. Unfortunately, the rain poured heavily, this limiting my movement for the photo session. Enough of bubbling, let’s straight to the pictures shall we??

4AEOC....

At last I have delivered every single picture of Formula Drift Malaysia to ESPN. With 1 week time frame, we have to sort out the images, reprocess everything before we deliver.  Alhamdulillah it goes well.

By the way I was having dinner with my family when I heard this loud explosive sounds, and yeah I miss that sound, the fireworks sounds to be exact. Without any delay, I ran to collect my camera, and this is what I’ve capture.  All hand held. Sad thing is, the wind is blowing towards me, so the ‘clean’ fireworks can’t be captured. Plus, my house don’t have upper balcony,thus i have to be at the ground floor and my view is blocked by the front gate lamp. No luck for me, anyway, enjoy the colors guys.

These are SOME from 47GB of the picture captured along the events. No editing or photo retouch has been done as I wanna test how far is the capability of the new 7D. The only things that I have done is only cropping & watermark. It is as original from the camera. Also in this albums, contains images from Raymie & Ijhar, my 2nd & 3rd troopers. I’ll update with more pix soon, as I’m still doing it now.

Woottt woot…it really is very2 good year ends for me and crew of fotografiadelyzard. Another milestones has been set for fotografiadelyzard. We have been selected as the Official Photographer for Formula Drift Malaysia 2009, and it went very well. We are so honored to be given the chance to do coverage of such a big event which is know internationally. During those three days (18th-20th dec), we have captured about nearly 14k pieces of pictures, or shall we put it this way, 47GB in total. Almost everything is covered, pit crews, judges, accidents, drifting, drifters, crowds, race queens(event would be very dull without them right? ) and the aftermath. Both Saturday and Sunday encounter bad weather, but hey, rain or shine the event goes on, so do we. Looking at these people drifting, makes me really miss my Silvia, and just so happen that the top 2 podium is on Silvia. I’m sooooo gonna get one soon (is it? ).

I would also like to express my congratulations to newly wed couple, Maisarah and Yuz, where the FD MY event took place the same week of their big day, and I only manage to cover the Akad ceremony on Friday evening, while the reception by Ijhar & Arif of fotografiadelyzard.  Here, I would like to thanks my crew and friends that make this thing happens,
