The history of fotografiadelyzard started back in the year 2006 when Wan Mohd Zariff, a.k.a. Lyzard (as popularly referred to in the motor sports and photography scenes in Malaysia) got his first ever DSLR camera subsequently after destroying his SLR camera during a mountain climbing event. Having absolutely zero knowledge in art and photography, owning a DSLR camera led to him shooting constantly, everyday, and on almost anything. Being actively involved in the motor sports scene in Malaysia, the first series of subjects he portrayed in photography was the local drifting scenes which he, himself, participated in, drifting when the time arrived and snapping away the rest of the time. From the outcome of the photos he took, he was fascinated, leading him to be well-received by the drift community hence pushing him harder to continue capturing such magnificent moments in time.

Today, fotografiadelyzard is a very well-known brand name in the local drifting scene. In 2009, fotografiadelyzard was involved in the making of Skop Production’s “Evolusi KL Drift II” (directed by Shamsul Yusof) by sponsoring a Nissan Silvia S14 as one of the stunt cars with Lyzard as one of the stunt drivers.

In addition to motor sports photography, fotografiadelyzard also specializes in wedding photography, which, undeniably, requires a fast eye through the lens for capturing those once-in-a-lifetime moments, to be cherished by this generation and those to come. Travelling is not considered as a setback to fotografiadelyzard seeing as many of the past clients have been from outside of the Klang Valley. Please feel free to browse around the site.
